Hello and Welcome to our new website.
We live in the Heart of the Rockies here in Buena Vista, Colorado. Also known as the fourteeners. We have an 80 acre ranch here and raise some cattle, and Boer goats. We also have a few dairy goats too that we milk for ourselves and the bottle babies that we raise.
We got started raising Boer goats 5 years ago when my daughter wanted to show them in 4-H, and as the saying goes we were hooked. Since then we have increased our herd steadily and now have 2 Bucks that sire our herd. Their names are Blaze and Ghost, and now we also have over 40 head of does, 30 kids and then this year we have had a bumper crop of new kids that have just started hitting the ground this month.
Our Mountains are called the Collegiate Range aren't they beautiful?? All of the mountains in our area are all over 14,000 feet that is why they are called the fourteeners. Please feel free to call or email us back at any time we love to talk goat.
